Oh the places we'll go...

We have gotten the blog up and running! I sincerely hope this will be an excellent tool for us to tell everyone back home what we have been up to.  Both of us will be updating the blog and we will try to include pictures when we get the chance.  (Please do not worry if we only give updates every week or so, you never know what kind of internet access we will have.)

With just over a week to go before take off we are in the middle of planning and packing. As the big day gets closer, the excitement is building!  There are so many items to consider when planning a trip like this from the budget to the activities to the sights to see. 

Items we have checked off the To Do List:

- Tickets (wahoo!)

- Backpacks

- Selling our cars (sad to see them go, the end of an era)

- Passports renewed

- Basic itinerary (what countries and a few must sees)

- Blog!

Things left to do:

- Finish up started projects back home

- Pack our lives into backpacks

- Researching each country (to get the most out of our time there)

- CATCH OUR PLANE!!!

We are looking forward to the food, the scenery (the mountains, rainforests, and coral reefs), the people and the culture.  Adventure awaits, only a few flights away.  A big thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped us prepare for our trip.
